Maths
We help children who have missed out on the development and understanding of basic concepts, which prevent them from further progress. We also assist others who are just experiencing difficulty in one area of mathematics. And yes we do teach tables!
A typical session will consist of 5 or 6 different activities taken from:
- Mixed mental maths
- Maths problems
- Times tables
- Arithmetic: +, -, x, รท
- Timed mental arithmetic
- Fractions, decimals, percentages
- Measurement
- Money
- Time
- Algebra
- Geometry
- Skill builders
- Homework follow up
- Educational computer games
Maths levels are graded from beginner all the way to GCSE A* level.
